Christmas 2011

This Christmas was a bittersweet one.  Brent's grandmother, Mrs. Reba Trousdale, passed away on Christmas Eve morning.  She was an amazing woman.  Words can't even begin to describe how much she'll be missed.

Santa Claus was very good to Charlee and Saylor!  I hope Brent and I can always remember how FULL OF JOY our two sweeties were on Christmas morning!  I know that it'll only get better over the next few years, but this year was PRECIOUS!!!
Hanging our key for Santa on the door.  (Thank you, Aunt Mandy!)

Putting out our reindeer food in the front yard.  My students got to make these during our Christmas party.  They wanted to be sure that Charlee and Saylor had some, too.  =)

We baked special cookies for Santa with the m&m's he gave us when we saw him a couple weeks ago.

Christmas morning!!!!  This was their initial reaction...what is all this and can we touch it???

WOODY from Toy Story!

Saylor kept saying "I want another one".  =)

and the final gift was waiting outside.......Cadillac Escalades!

After we opened our gifts from Santa we headed over to Big's house to eat breakfast and open more presents.

Potty Training SUCCESS!!

I'm knocking on wood as I'm typing this, but WE ARE POTTY TRAINED!!!  Charlee and Saylor have done AWESOME!  It's the end of day 3 and there were ZERO accidents today.  Yesterday they each had 2,but they were both poo poo's.  (Sorry if this is all TMI)  They're sleeping in a pull up and they do wake up wet, but I think we can live with that for a while as long as our days are great!  =)  WE ARE BIG GIRLS! ! ! !

We Are Big Girls Now!

We started potty training today!  We've decided to do the 3 day method and it seems that we've got it down in just one day!   I knew the girls were ready, but they've exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds!  We're doing a sticker-reward chart for every time they have a success (pictures soon).  Charlee had 1 and 2 half accidents today and Saylor had 2 accidents.  All of this happened within the first 2 hours of us starting and the rest of the time went AWESOME!  They both even poo-pood! ! !=)  Those get frog stickers!  (Ya gotta do whatcha gotta do)!  We'll see how the night goes.  They're in a pull-up, but they wore big girl panties ALL DAY! ! ! ! !  We are so, SO , so proud of our big girls!!!

Christmas with the Green's 2011

Last Sunday, we had Christmas with Brent's dad's side of the family.  Pops and Mimi G hosted this year and we had it at Woodmont Baptist's East  Campus.  It was the perfect place!  It was so great getting to see everybody.  Of course, we wish we saw them more often.  Santa Claus also came to see us while we were there...HO! HO! OH NO!!!  The Green girls still aren't his biggest fans!  We didn't make them sit with him this year.  BUT, as Santa was leaving he came around to tell us bye and they did begin to warm up to him and told him their wish list.  I kinda think it had a little something to do with the big red bag of candy he was offering them.  =)

Sweet Saylor

Cha, Cha, Cha Charlee

Addyson in her adorable tutu!

Jordyn checking out Santa's goodies!

Will was AMAZING with Santa!  Charlee's hoping Santa doesn't see her sneak a coloring book...

Get me away from him!!!!

Saylor just kept looking at me like, "Momma, seriously!?!"

Sarah Grace whispering to Santa...just precious!

Kensley did not want Santa either.  She warmed up later on too.

Thought I'd give it another try.
