WHEW!! What a weekend!!

Saturday morning Kimberly and Ava went with the girls and me to Anderson Baptist Church to do Painting Memories pottery. We got Charlee and Saylor's hand and footprints on a cookie jar. It'll be ready in 6-8 weeks and I can't wait to see the finished product. When we got back, the girls took a nap and then it was time to go to Jordyn's 2nd birthday party. He had a great party! It looked like Christmas at his house when we left. After the party we had to go to Wal-Mart. Both girls slept the whole time we were in there and we were grateful! Today, we went to Meme and Papa's! My brother, John, is in town with his 2 daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Alexandria. We had a great lunch and then went swimming. Another super great, super fast weekend!

Last week at the Green house...

It's been a pretty big week for us. Charlee successfully cried-it-out!! Brent was out of town, so Mama decided to come spend those nights he was away to help us get through the "boot camp". Charlee did an AMAZING job!! She didn't cry like I thought she would and never got to the point of some of the horror stories I've heard. We couldn't have done it without Meme's help! I'm so grateful she was able to help us all through. Both girls are now holding their own bottles now, too. This helps out so much! But, next month I'm gonna start to transition to only sippy cups since they'll be starting whole milk. Let's hope they're ready to give it up. We're also trying a lot more "real" food. Saylor does better than Charlee, but for some reason I think Charlee's gonna be a little bit like me as a kid and be pretty picky...hmmmm! I guess that's what I get. We also took the girls out to eat in a restaurant for the first time ever! My parents called on Friday to see if we wanted to go eat with them and we did. We went to Stanfield's with Meme, Papa, Cameron and Dylan. The girls did soooo good! We really should've done that one a long, long time ago!!! They also got new sapphire earrings on Friday. We put them in before we went to eat. Brent was giving baths later that night and noticed that Charlee was missing one of the backs. We searched and searched but it was nowhere to be found. He went Saturday and just bought all new ones so they'll hold on better. Earring backs are not cheap! We're just lucky we didn't lose the whole earring! All in all, it was a week that I'll never forget (hopefully! my brain sure isn't what it used to be. ha!)

Holding their bottles and watching t.v.

Welcoming Addyson & Hanging Out

Addyson got to come home on Friday and the girls couldn't wait to go meet her! :) We took a wagon ride to her house. Brent and I didn't get a chance to hold her because neither girl would let Uncle Corey hold them and they were everywhere playing with Jordyn's toys. She's doing great, though and is sooo beautiful! She looks so much like Jordyn when he was born. (much more alike than Charlee and Saylor :) .) Overall, we had a GREAT weekend!! Pops came by on Saturday and the girls had lots of fun with him. Charlee is still walking, not much, but she's going. I'm working on their birthday invitations and decorations. I still have to start on their tutus for pictures, but I'll get to it eventually. and...Meme, Papa, Cameron, and Dylan are back home!! We hope we get to see them in the morning! :)

Aunt Tiffany and Saylor. Saylor loves her!! :)

Sweet Addyson...she's so tiny! 7 lbs. 2 oz and 21 in.

Pretty girl!

Charlee, Saylor,and Friends

We had lots of visitors today! Some of my very favorite people came by...Robin, Lauren, and sweet Sawyer Shelton. Alisha, cute Caleb, and sweet Elizabeth Crunk. AND Charlee took her first steps...what a GREAT day at the Green house!!!

Robin and Sawyer playing with the girls.

Oh no!! Look out Sawyer! Saylor looks sooo excited and sounded thrilled! I think she's happy because she's not the one in the head lock!! I wish I had all this on video!

Poor, poor Sawyer...

Elizabeth and Charlee (Saylor slept through most of this visit). Charlee is such a camera hog! I think I may have a little something to do with that! :) A girl must always be ready for her close up!

Soooo sweet! Elizabeth has just started walking and by the time she left today she had walked from the living room to the kitchen! She was showing the girls how it's done! :)

Charlee has to help out when anybody's trying to jump in the jumperoo!

This is how the girls ended up after all our company was gone. Life is good with a sister by your side!
