Cookies and Cuties

The girls helped me make some M&M cookies the other night.  They did a GREAT job and it was so, so much fun.  We had LOTS of fun cleaning up, too.  =)

No Hair Cuts

We didn't get our haircuts on Saturday like we had planned. I woke up that morning VERY sick! Brent asked me if he needed to call someone to go with him to get them done. There was no way I was gonna miss their 1st hair cuts! So I called and canceled.
ALSO, still no luck uploading pictures. =(

TROUBLE! UGH!

I'm having LOTS of trouble uploading pictures to the blog! We had to get a new Verizon USB and I'm afraid that's where the trouble lies. This is incredibley frustrating! Hopefully things will fix themselves. We're going to (try to) get our first haircuts on Saturday and I really hope I'll be able to share those pictures. Wish us luck with the haircuts! =)

Party and Fun!

We've had a wonderful weekend!  We did pretty good at the yard sale, but I think we'll skip a year or two before we do another one.  Last night we got to go to Bailey's birthday party in Rane Bay.  We had the MOST FUN!!!  A night at the Newbern's is ALWAYS a night to remember!!  I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!  Laura cooked the best chicken casserole and green bean casserole...and I fixed Charlee the best pb&j...little stinker!

Sweetest Girls

A lot of the same is going on at Charlee and Saylor's house.  There aren't enough hours in the day.  Our nights go by way too fast and the weekends go even faster.  We've had a yard sales this past weekend and this weekend at our house.  The Highway 101 yard sale.  School's going really well for me.  You NEVER know what a first grader will say!  =)  I love my job, I miss my girls!

What a Wonderful Weekend!!!

We had a very good, but FAST weekend!  Lots of playing and football fun.  And on Sunday, I got to go to Birmingham to see Les Miserables with Laura and her family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was amazing!!  Laura and I have loved this play since I can remember!  I said that if I had a bucket list I could mark that one off now...so now I want to make a bucket list.  =)  THANK YOU to all of you for thinking of me and letting me join you!!!

Brace yourselves...I'm about to brag...

I didn't realize just how long it had been since I uploaded pictures until I started doing these.  It's just been the last thing on my to do list, I guess.  I also realized that I've not really said WHAT the girls are doing now...it's  A LOT!  and it's SO EXCITING!!!  They are so smart, or at least I think so!  For the past couple of months they've both been able to say their ABC's and they're both able to count to 14!  They know do, ra, me...even "The Sound of Music" version.  "Do, a deer..."  Their favorite movies are Annie, Little Rascals, Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music.  I've just introduced them and they've fallen in love with them!  You should hear them sing "Tomorrow"!  IT'S THE SWEETEST THING!!!!!!!!!!  They talk like you wouldn't believe!  Brent and I are two INCREDIBLY proud parents!!!  Of course these things are just a fraction of what they're doing but I didn't think I would do all my bragging in one post.  =)
