These are the days of our lives......

Over the past couple of weeks the girls have been to the doctor's office a few times.  Poor Saylor just couldn't get rid of her croupy cough and she was having such a hard time sleeping because of  it.  She had 6 doses of steroids and antibiotics and nothing was helping.  SO, Dr. Crenshaw decided it was time for a nebulizer at home.  For the next 5 months or so, Saylor gets to have a breathing treatment everyday and if she starts to get a cough then we'll do it 3 or 4 times a day until she's better.  She really didn't like the treatment at first but now, 4 days later, she asks to do it.  =)  Charlee tells her how great she's doing while she does her treatment.  Charlee got a really bad blistered bump on her side on Wednesday.  We were afraid it was the beginning of chicken pox.  Brent took her to the doctor on Thursday morning and it turns out it was more than likely an ant bite.  Thank goodness for NO chicken pox.  Other than doctors' visits, these two cuties are just as wild and sweet and loving as two toddlers can be.  They take the best care of each other.  I sure do hope this lasts for the rest of their lives.

Treatment #3...all good.  She's sporting a band-aid, just because.  We sometimes get a little dramatic when we get boo boo's.  A band-aid and a kiss can make a world of difference.

It's been awhile...BUSY is the life of a teacher/momma/wife at Christmas!  As ALL of us are SO busy!  I'll slowly try to get everyone caught up.

This and That

Here are a few random pictures from the past couple of weeks.  Things have been really busy around our house.  There just aren't enough hours in the day! ! !  AND the weekends seem to get shorter and shorter.  It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already next week along with Brent's birthday!  He's told me to not worry about baking him a cake, but we'll see.  They just take up so much time.  I used to do them when the girls were sleeping, but now that I'm a working Momma  I NEED MY SLEEP!  Two toddlers and 19 first graders take a lot out of ya!  =) 

On another note...our house is for sale!! FINALLY!  =)  It's all a little bittersweet for me, but we're really ready to build again.  We've got our plan ready and picked out our next lot.  Now, if only the perfect people will come along sooner rather than later.  But, we know how long it take a house to sell so we're in no rush. 

And finally, we've been saying an extra night-night prayer for Ms. Angela this week.  This is my sister-in-law, Tiffany's mother.  She had a brain aneurysum on Sunday and didn't know for sure about it until Monday.  She's in Huntsville in ICU.  They did surgery last night (Wednesday) and we 're still waiting to hear how things are today.  Please remember her.

Sweetest Girls

A lot of the same is going on at Charlee and Saylor's house.  There aren't enough hours in the day.  Our nights go by way too fast and the weekends go even faster.  We've had a yard sales this past weekend and this weekend at our house.  The Highway 101 yard sale.  School's going really well for me.  You NEVER know what a first grader will say!  =)  I love my job, I miss my girls!
