Last week Mama and Daddy went with the girls and me to visit with Aunt Kristi and Tillman. He's getting so big and he's such a smart baby!!

Pitter, Patter - Pitter, Patter
Yesterday the girls made some major progress in walking. It was like it literally happened over night! So, I'll say we're officially walking now...not just taking steps. They're also still eating real foods, but not as much variety. They know what they like and what they don't. So, they eat a lot of pancakes and mac-n-cheese. I have to sneek the good stuff in there. They're also talking a lot more. Charlee will repeat or mimic so much of what we say, but Saylor says it all at once. She's definitely got her own language. It's the sweetest thing to listen to them and see them communicate with each other.
Here's some random pictures over the past couple of days...ENJOY!

Saylor sure does know how to strike a pose!

Birthdays and Party Prep
Over the weekend we really tried to get a jumpstart on the girls' birthday party preparations. We made their tutus, practiced cakes, and sent out their invitations. LOTS of teamwork! Brent is the best Daddy!! =)
This is the first tutu we made. We did it on an elastic band and this is when the band broke!!!!!!!!!! We decided that doing them on ribbon was best.
Here's one of our practice cakes. We loved working with the fondant, but we've decided that regular decorating icing is probably gonna work best for the girls eating them. The fondant got kinda gummy when we ate it and it's really not too baby friendly.
Me and my girls! once again....POOR Saylor!

Change is Good!
Over the past week the girls have had some pretty big changes...First, they've started drinking whole milk! I've gradually introduced it. It seems to bother their bellies at night, so we've not gotten good and asleep until about 11 p.m. most nights due to toots and burps. :) We also got new stroller seats and car seats!! We went with the Britax Boulevard and the girls seem like they're going to enjoy them. They've also starting eating LOTS of new foods. Real foods! I think their favorites are mac n cheese and pancakes. The clock is ticking down to their first birthday...way to fast!!
